Egg hunting will be done by age group (Buddy hunt for ages 4 and under; ages 5-8; and 9 and over), in two timed rounds at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to ensure the safety of all and allow time to enjoy other fun activities including games, crafts, music, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny!

Children will trade in eggs for age-appropriate gift bags that contain CANDY and fun activities. There will be allergy-friendly bags for those who need them.

This event is presented by First Presbyterian Church of Topeka, Grace Episcopal Cathedral, St. John AME, and Topeka First United Methodist Church. Special thanks to KMAJ and Shawn Knight who will be spinning tunes and keeping everyone grooving as our on-site DJ!

Palm Sunday Worship – Sunday April 2
Join us for Palm Sunday Worship on April 2 at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The 10:30 a.m. service will also be livestreamed.

Maundy Thursday – Thursday, April 6
The Maundy Thursday service will be April 6 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Maundy Thursday begins the Three Days (or Triduum), remembering the new commandment that Christ gave us in word and deed as he taught us how to love one another, washing our feet as a servant. We  celebrate the Lord’s Supper, remembering the meal Christ shared with his disciples before his death. The service will also be livestreamed.

Good Friday, Friday, April 7
Good Friday Worship service will be April 7 at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Good Friday is the day we remember Jesus’ crucifixion. The Good Friday service is a penitential service, yet it is also a celebration of the good news of the cross. This service will not be livestreamed.

Easter Sunday – Sunday, April 9
Celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 9, at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Easter celebrates the presence of the crucified and risen Christ who is now among us, reconciling us as one people. The 10:30 a.m. service will also be livestreamed on our website at www.fpctopeka.org/live-worship, on our Facebook page, and on our YouTube channel. Nursery and childcare will be available for both services. All are welcome at First Presbyterian Church of Topeka!

Special Easter treat: our Faith & Flour group will bake a special batch of hot cross buns to share with those who worship in person on Easter.
