SUMMARY:Ash Wednesday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday\, February 22\, at noon in our chapel. Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent\, a 40-day season of spiritual discipline\, transformation\, and preparation for Easter. In Lent\, we reflect on Christ’s ministry\, death\, and resurrection. We slow down and take time to examine our internal spiritual lives and the ways we live out our Christian faith in the world around us. Our Ash Wednesday service includes the imposition of ashes\, where a pastor will place a cross of ashes on your forehead as a reminder that we are dust\, and to dust we will return. This service will not be livestreamed. If you are unable to attend Ash Wednesday worship\, imposition of ashes will be available on Tuesday\, February 21\, from 5-7 p.m. at our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Feed event.
