Memorial Organ Concert in Honor of Dr. Bob Jacoby

On Sunday, October 24 at 3 p.m., a memorial organ concert in honor of Dr. Bob Jacoby will be presented at First Presbyterian Church by members of the Topeka Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO). Bob was the assistant organist at First Presbyterian Church from 1975 until his death in June 2020.
This concert is free and open to the public, and all are welcome and invited to attend. Eight very talented members of the Topeka AGO chapter—Jerry Anderson, Lucas Tappan, Nick Good, Cynthia Neufeld Smith, Jane Anderson, Mary Ellen Sutton, Sharon Hettinger, and Joshua Hearn—will play music by composers that were very meaningful to Bob.
Bob loved to give solo organ recitals himself and never missed the opportunity to share his talent and love of organ music. He was active in the Topeka AGO chapter, participating in member recitals and serving as a dean of the chapter. We invite you to join us on October 24 at 3 p.m. to enjoy a wonderful memorial organ concert in his honor.
